A Bittersweet Farewell

Two of my BEST friends in the entire world are Elder Cameron K. and Elder Caleb C. These guys are so amazing in everything they do and are off to serve the Lord this coming Wednesday!!! I know they are both ready and that they will change everyone who meets them for the better, just like they have done to me! I am so grateful to have known them both for the past 6 years and for all of the crazy adventures we have had :) I just want to say a few things and experiences that I love about each of them:

Cameron: Day of the Loop, Morp, 8th grade, your kindness, reading scriptures to me in Spanish, showing me that Vanilla Coke is legit, how we are best friends, mailing cookies, and my song

Kristy, Cameron and I

That style is mission worthy!
Caleb: Primary, teaching me to play cards, how you always know the answer to a Gospel question, your Russian accent in A.P., how you are basically my brother and how I only gave you one ride home even though we are neighbors

Missionary sandwich!!!

Guys about to be added to the Missionary Wall

Another classy missionary!

Jacob's Birthday

So our FHE bro Jacob turned 19! (Hopefully you are starting to get to know everyone I talk about pretty well) Anyways, we (Jacob, Conner and myself) went to the Cannon Center for dinner and then had a party for FHE that night!

FROZEN YOGURT!!!

This is the post that everyone keeps asking me about so wa-la, it is blogged :) We got a text for 2 for 1 Frozen Yogurt and made the spontaneous decision to go get some! Yay college! Anyways there was Alex, Mike, Jacob, Josh, Brynna, Rachel, Aubrey, Danissa, Mer and me!!! It was fun but the frozen yogurt was not the best thing I have ever had in my life for the money we paid... (Oh I had gotten a free make-over that day so that's why I look more done up than usual...)
Deep conversation featuring Rachel  and Jacob
Yay phone picture quality! And my awesome roommate!

Jake and Brynna look so excited for picture time...

Yep we are that legit.

Then we went back to our dorm and got stuff done! Or went to sleep... I don't really remember :)

Conference: Part 4 - Sunday Afternoon

So after Mer and I went home, I decided I wanted to do my hair and wear a skirt so that I would remember that it was Sunday more easily. Well, we broke out the curlers and you'll have to see what happened... For the last session, we went back over to hang with the guys (they had Wi-Fi which made watching way easier and not in a hallway). I also had delicious cupcake mix and so we took that too.
Punching each other to stay awake???  Boys...

Best roommate ever!!!

The final four!

Yummy yummy!!!

Contempt for the camera...

Paparazzi style :)
So after Conference, all the boys were falling asleep so Mer and I went to perform a random act of charity and help the boys who live next door to our FHE bros clean up their kitchen. It was fun! After we just chilled out and then went to bed. (And all of our roommates came home safe). So ends the tale of Conference weekend!

Conference: Part 3 - Sunday Morning

We went to bed after agreeing that we would have breakfast with our FHE brothers (at least the ones that were around...). So Sunday morning I got up and made more delicious pancakes! Then we got to go knock on their windows again (they live on the first floor) so they would let us in. Enjoy all of the pictures of everyone half asleep :)
The owl pancake!

So happy!

Trying to avoid my camera...

My breakfast was happy to see me!!!

He had just woken up...

At least Meredith was happy for Conference...

Switching spots to stay awake

Nuff said.

The usual...
Luckily we made it through without falling asleep! I could never quite tell with Jake though so whatever... Breakfast was delicious, if I may say so myself. (I learned how to make pancakes from the best!) After the session ended, Meredith and I went back home to get ready for life and to eat some lunch.

Conference: Part 2 - Saturday Afternoon

(I just remembered that after we ate our pancakes we gave the rest to our FHE bros right before Conference started...)
So right after Saturday Morning session, I had to go to an American Heritage review. We didn't really do anything in between except homework. For Saturday Afternoon session we invited our FHE brother Jacob (he might be referenced to as Jake also) to come watch with us. It turned out pretty interesting because he had to sit in our hallway the whole time... But we had a blast!
Jake and Daniel (they received the pancakes)

Yay economics!

Jacob and his chair in the hallway
So after the afternoon session was over, I felt like cleaning up. I got the kitchen super clean (with some help from Meredith) and the bathroom was spotless. It was glorious! While we were working, Jacob baked blueberry muffins which were delicious!
Our clean kitchen

Yes, yes my roommate is that cool.

The beautiful shower!
